What happened to My America?

I thought we lived in a Democracy. Not an oligarchy. I thought Governor’s were supposed to govern. Not to be a tyrant.

Just sayin’

“We must close union offices, confiscate their money, and put their leaders in prison. We must reduce workers’ salaries and take away their right to strike.” — Adolf Hitler, May 2, 1933

“These are the values inspiring those brave workers in Poland. They remind us that where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost.” — Pres. Ronald Reagan, Labor Day Address, 1980

What say ye now, tea baggers?

  1. I understand that. I also understand that the reason why the WI budget was in a crisis, is because Gov. Walker decided to give his rich buddies a bunch of tax breaks. And then realized you can't exactly balance a budge with no revenue, so he went after public servants. Which I take particular offense to considering my parents both worked for the federal and state governments their whole lives and weren't exactly rolling in the dough. I also take offense to how Gov. Walker thinks he can run roughshod over the Democratic process. Well, I for one am not going to stand idly by while the extremists take over my country so they can give all the corporations tax breaks on the backs of the middle class. Just my opinion. Being that I am a little guy, I'm going to be on the side of the little guy. Not corporations or governments who don't give a damn about the people who work for them.
